1928 Chevrolet National AB Coupe

If you're truly a Chevy lover, here's a rare find! A 1928 Chevrolet National AB Coupe! This is an early restoration. It has a professionally rebuilt 21.7 horsepower four cylinder engine with new pistons, rings, bearings, rebuilt head, honeycomb radiator, lacing, etc. It has a three speed transmission with reverse, mechanical brakes, good tires, new inner tubes, wood steering wheel, all the lights work in the interior and exterior, with an ooga horn that actually works! (please hear the :06 second sound byte of the "Engine Rev & Ooga Horn" at the bottom of this page...but please be patient, the file is QUITE LARGE and it could take a few minutes!). Mileage on the Chevy is 34,159 (see picture). This car has been in our good friends family since 1985, and has been garaged since its purchase. There are less than 1,000 miles on the rebuilt engine, which was completed in 1990. The body has no rust and no major dents, but the paint has some check lines (see picture of hood). This car has been a Colorado car as long as we know of. The interior is original, but needs to be reupholstered (see picture). The word "Vintage" is painted on the driver's side door, but has been removed with rubbing compound on the passenger side. The reason for the "Vintage" being: the previous owner owned a used car lot called "Vintage Auto Sales". The passenger side also has a luggage rack on the running board (see picture). The disk wheels are original and came with the car when new. It has an 107" wheel base, 21" wheels, and weighs 2,235 lbs. Also included are the Chevrolet repair manual and owners operation manual, purchased after he bought the car. It has landau irons (not applied), and the origianl milk glass cowl lights. This is a very high quality collector's car and has been used for parades and joy rides....a perfect car for the discriminating Chevrolet collector!

Please click on the small picture for eight larger pictures....please be patient, but don't let the parade pass you by!

Reg. Price: $9,500.00, SOLD for $9,000.00
