UPRR "Overland Route" Logo, Oak Sessions Mfg. Regulator

(Item: 4603C)

Union Pacific Railroad “Overland Route,” Oak Sessions Depot Regulator Clock

This is only the second Union Pacific Railroad regulator clock we’ve had in many years at our store. It is a full-size golden oak Sessions Clock Company, Regulator E, time only. It is in excellent condition, runs well, and keeps time accurately. The case is dark golden oak, with pressed star patterned applied trim. The bottom of the clock has a cut out and pressed design. The door opens to the right. The lower half of the door is reverse printed in gilt “Union Pacific Overland Route”, with the overland shield logo design. This clock was used in the Central City, Nebraska depot, circa 1910-1915. “Central City” is impressed on the lower inside right edge of the case. The clock case, works, face, pendulum, and key are original. The face of the railroad regulator shows wear and some staining from years of use, but is still in good condition. The back of the case has the original instructions glued on for the regulator E style clock. The works are stamped “Sessions Clock Company, USA, Forestville, Conn.” Dimensions of this fine clock are; 18” wide x 37 1/2” long x 5 1/8” deep. A must for the serious Union Pacific Railroad collector!
