D&RGW Rio Grande, B&W Scenic Line Logo License Plate Holder

A rather unique item from the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad. This enameled metal license plate employee parking ID tag has seen some use over the years. It is black and white enamel on metal with one hole to attach it to a license plate. It shows light paint chip wear from years of use in the enamel front and back and slight surface rust near the bottom of the tag. Overall, it is not in bad shape with a nice logo. The tag reads “Rio Grande, Royal Gorge, Moffat Tunnel, Scenic Line of the world.” The last word, world, has the most wear. The dimensions of the tag are; 6 ¾” long by 4 11/16” wide. This is a very hard to find item in good condition due to the fact most of these received hard wear from all types of weather. A very collectible D&RGW Railroadiana item ready to display in your room!
