D&RGW Adlake-Kero #250 Lantern w/Red Etched Corning Globe

This lantern is sure to please any Colorado railroad enthusiast. This beautifully hand polished Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad lantern has lots of original tin and is very straight. The frame has been only been cleaned of oil and dirt, then hand polished. The lanterns top lid is embossed "D&RGW, Adlake No. 250 Kero, The Adams & Westlake Co., Chicago-Elkhart-New York". The frame measures; 9 1/4" tall without the bail. It comes with an Adlake #400 burner and fount that is in very good condition and will hold oil. The 3 1/4" tall short red globe is etched "D&RGWRR" and "Safety First". It is strongly embossed "Adlake-Kero" and “Cnx”, which is the Corning logo. There are only some very minor inside flea bites on the top rim, and one small flat outside rim chip on the bottom rim. These will not be seen when in the frame. You can proudly display this D&RGW beauty in any room of your home!

D&RGW Adlake-Kero #250 Lantern w/Red Etched Corning Globe

Embossed on the top lid "D&RGWRR, Adlake No. 250 Kero, The Adams & Westlake Co., Chicago-Elkhart-New York".

The 3 1/4" tall short red globe is embossed "Adlake Kero", and is etched "D&RGW" below that.

On the reverse side it is embossed with the Corning logo "Cnx", and is etched "Safety First" below that.

The lantern comes with an Adlake 400 font and burner, which will still hold oil and burn.
