
1890’s 1/4 Sawn Oak Buffet w/Claw Feet & Curved Glass
This dainty and elegant quarter sawn oak buffet has all the ear marks of quality. It is medium golden oak, with curved glass doors on each end, and a long beveled glass mirror. The legs are cabriole style, with seven tow claw feet & carved designs at the top of each front leg and the center of the lower drawer. The three drawers have mitred corners. The long beveled mirror is topped by a carved foliage and shield pattern crest. The glass and mirror appear to be original and are in excellent condition. The brass hardware is in excellent and perfect condition. The locks on the two curved doors have been replaced. The top silverware drawer has been re-lined with burgundy velvet. The two lower linen drawers are lined with birdseye maple veneer. The new key works all five locks. Dimensions of this very beautiful furniture piece are; 52 ¼” tall, 50” wide, and 20 ¾” deep. This quarter sawn oak buffet will be an attention-getter wherever you choose to display it!
