Early 1900’s, 36” S Roll-Top Secretary Desk & Chair  

This great little desk is the perfect size for all of your important paperwork! The original finish is a dark oak tone. The roll top is the more desirable S-roll style. The trapezoid oak handles on the four deep drawers are original, as is the hardware. The locking mechanism works perfectly and has a key. There are two letter slots and file holders, one on each side of the roll top. There are 8 pigeon holes and 2 drawers in the interior of the desk. The tambors are in perfect condition. The desk is 44 ¾” tall, 36” wide, and 30” deep. The matching secretary chair is solid oak, with a beautiful quarter sawn oak seat. It has five curved back slats. The secretary chair has been refinished to match the desk. The chair has cast iron adjustable height hardware. The adjuster is embossed “The Milwaukee Chair Co., Pat. Oct 20, 1914.” The chair is on casters, and rolls well. The chair is quite comfortable. This unusual size desk and secretary chair are looking for a new home. Maybe a corner of yours…?
