This oval baker dish is in the "Mimbreno" pattern, the harder to find ivory version. It is bottom marked "Syracuse China, U.S.A., made Expressly for Santa Fe Dining Car Service", with the date code " 2-FF" (1951 issue). The date code indicates the month and year made on Mimbreno pieces. The oval baker dish is in very good condition, showing a few light utensil marks in the well. Dimensions of the oval baker are; 5 5/8" long, and 4 1/4" wide. A harder to find Sata Fe railroad china piece ready to display!
