AT&SFRy "Santa Fe Railway" Adlake-Kero No. 250 Clear Etched Globe Lantern
A very nice 1920's railroad lantern from the Santa Fe Railway. Made by the Adams & Westlake Company, this lantern is embossed on the top lid "The Adams & Westlake Co., AT&SFRy, Adlake-Kero No. 250, New York, Chicago, Phila." with the last patent date being 1923. This lantern has lots of original tin and has only been cleaned of oil & dirt. It shows nice patina on the top lid, and the frame is very straight with only one small ding on the top lid. It measures 10 1/2" tall without the bail. The frame could be polished if desired. It comes with a 3 1/2" tall clear etched "AT&SFRy" Corning globe that has some minor bottom & top rim chips that will not show when in the frame. It has the correct A&W #250 fount & burner that has three small pin holes at the bottom of the fount. A very collectible Santa Fe Railway lantern that deserves a place in your collection!
