1921 23" German Paul Schmidt Bisque Doll w/Kid Body

This special and well cared for doll is looking for a new and loving home! The doll was owned by Edna Christien Rogers, wife of Wendell Rogers, who was mayor of Dallas, Texas from 1939 to 1947. The doll is marked "P.Sch 1899-6" under her shoulder plate, Her head is bisque, with blue sleep eyes, open mouth, and her orginal real hair wig. She has a kid body, and bisque hands. Her clothes are period, possibly original, except for her shoes (old replacements). She is in excellent original condition, no chips, cracks, or hairlines. We can't say enough about how nice this doll is, and how well preserved she is. She would be a fabulous addition to any serious doll collection!
