Powder Blue Puffy Graniteware Boiler/Preserving Kettle w/Lid

This large boiler/preserving kettle is in very good original condition. It is powder blue puffy enamel, with a faint white background. The kettle has a wire bail & wood handle, original to the kettle, and the original matching lid. There is some chipping around the edge of the lid, and one 1" diameter chip on one side of the kettle, and 3" chips around the base of the kettle. Considering the proclivity of graniteware to chipping, this kettle is a very nice specimen. The inside of the kettle is white, with some dark areas on the bottom from cooking lots of... something! The perserving kettle is 14" in diameter, and 8 1/2" tall. If you are a graniteware collector, this would be a great addition to your collection!

There is some chipping around the edge of the lid and one 1" diameter chip near the lid handle.

There is one 1" diameter chip on one side of the kettle, and 3" chips around the base of the kettle. Considering the proclivity of graniteware to chipping, this kettle is a very nice specimen.
