Chicago & Northwestern Railroad, Octagon Drop Front Seth Thomas Mfg. Regulator Depot Clock
Here is a very nice railroadiana piece that is sure to please the discriminating collector! A Seth Thomas Mfg. octagon drop front regulator clock made for the C&NWRR. The original paper dial reads"Chicago Northwestern Passenger Station, 500 West Madison Street". It does have some minor water marks in spots on the face. The clock measures 24" long, 16" wide and 4 1/2" deep. The dark mahogany wood is in great shape and the finish is original. This marked Seth Thomas clock has the original time & strike internal clock works, and is in very good condition, and runs smoothly with a pleasant sounding chime. A harder to find item these days, and one that should be appreciated for years to come!
