Victorian Cranberry Inverted Thumbprint Hanging Parlor Lamp

This graceful and elegant reminder of the late Victorian era is perfect and beautiful! We just polished this cranberry hanging parlor lamp up a bit before display. The 14" cranberry inverted thumbprint bullseye shade is perfect, no chips or cracks. It is the original kerosene burner and all. Some of our pictures are with the light on, and others with it off, so you can get an idea of how it looks daytime and evening. The chain winder is embossed with the patent date of Aug. 23, 1892 (see picture...it is hard to distinguish). We put in a screw in electric light socket, and threaded the gold electric cord to the top of the canopy. The electric parts can be removed in a few minutes if you wish to use kerosene or lamp oil instead. The dimensions of the lamp are 34" long, and 16 3/4" wide. This very lovely Victorian lamp would be striking in a formal dining room, bedroom, or a corner in your parlor!
