Oak General Store Display Case w/Locking Cash Drawer

This is the first display case we've had with a locking cash drawer below, and what a great one! Its features include a combination finger drawer lock and a bell which works when the drawer is pulled out. If the combination lock is not correctly pressed when you try to pull the drawer out, the bell chimes and the drawer locks after opening only 1/2". A very neat feature! The case is solid oak, and the dark finish is in excellent original condition. All of the glass is old, no cracks, but a couple of air bubbles. We have tacked in burgundy velvet for display purposes. The dimensions are: 20 1/2" x 20 1/2" square, and is 12" tall. The top glass frame has one 2 1/2" x 1/4" sliver of wood missing on the back left corner (see photo). It has been missing for many years and it only adds to the character of this piece. One of the underneath boards has been replaced, but is not seen when displayed. There is one ear missing on the hinge for the door (see photo). This would be a unique and interesting display case for those who do shows and have small expensive items to display. A great general store piece not often seen!
