Victorian Cranberry Hobnail Hanging Parlor Lamp

You can tell that we really love Victorian parlor lamps! This one is cranberry hobnail, with brass font. All of the parts are original and it is complete. The 14" cranberry shade is original with a smooth lip (fired twice). It does have a small ding in the center of the shade between two hobnails that was professionally repaired a long time ago (see picture). It displays a beautful design on the ceiling at night...you will not be disappointed, it will make your home feel like Christmas! The brass font has one tiny "ding" (see picture). The lamp is patented 1895, and the frame measures 39 1/2" long, 17 1/2" wide. You really should like this feature...although it has been electrified, we still have everything to convert it back to kerosene...with a little soldering on the inside where it will not show. Just in case your "cabin" doesn't have electricity...or, when Y2K hits! A fun and very useful lamp!
