Denver & Rio Grande Western Conductors Metal Step Stool

A real find for a Colorado railroadiana collector! This conductor's step stool is in very good original condition right down to the yellow paint. D& RGW is embossed on both sides of the stool. There is some chipping and edge roughness to the paint, and all of the corners have paint missing from years of use. There is some minor bubbling of the paint on the edges, and some rust, but the paint is at least 85% to 90% present. One foot has an edge that slightly curves out at the base, where it may have hit the ground or the track one time (see picture). The rubber tread on the stool is in excellent condition, and has just been cleaned. The dimensions are: 20" wide, 17 ½" deep, and 9" tall. A very desirable and unique Colorado collectible for the railroad buff in your life!
