Fairbanks Fairy Soap Christmas Store Display Box

Have you a little fairy in your home? This excellent original Fairbanks "Fairy Soap" counter top display box is just the thing for decorating your home. It would be perfect in the bath for rolled up towels, toiletries, or bubble bath and soap. The outside of the wooden box is covered in nubby old fabric, like you find on some trunks. The interior of the box is white original quilted paper, with some staining in the back right corner, and a few scattered spots. There are two separations in the paper where it goes over joined boards. The interior lid features a pastel lithograph of the Christmas Fairy holding her wand and a Fairy Soap banner. The hinges and brass latch are original and work well. The top of the box has two very old and original shipping labels. One is addressed to: Mrs. William Thichans, 826 Beech St., Manchester, NH. The other label is an American Express Co. Shipping label. Both labels are yellowed, but complete. The dimensions of the display box are: 16 3/4" wide, 17" deep, and 8 3/8" tall. A great general store collectible ready for display in your home!
