Loetz, Austria Signed Vase
Very impressive Loetz, Austria signed vase of green iridized and threaded glass. Measures: 14 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" diameter at the base. There are no cracks, chips or imperfections in this piece. The signature is in the middle of the polished pontil at the bottom of the vase (see picture). The Loetz Glass Works was established Klostermule, Austria in 1840, and continued to produce fine artware until WWII. Circa: early 1900's, the best Loetz piece we've seen for awhile! A beautiful addition for the serious art glass collector.
