Victorian Handpainted Bradley & Hubbard Hanging Parlor Lamp
For a truly elegant Victorian home, this lovely Bradley and Hubbard hanging parlor lamp is just the thing. The 14" milk glass shade and matching font are handpainted with a winter church scene, and a swallow flying above. The lamp has a wonderful brass cast spreader along with beautiful and ornate side arms. The dimensions of the entire lamp are 36 ½" length and 18 ½" in width. There are 36 crystal prisms. Is has been converted to electricity, but with a little welding, the brass font insert can be returned to kerosene. We still have the original "Imperial Climax" burner to go with it (see pictures). There is a small hole drilled in the brass filler cap (see picture), which can easily be replaced. There are no chips or cracks in any of the glass. The scenes are done in blues, pinks, rose and pale yellow. The patent date marked on the frame is 1888. It would be a perfect accent to brighten your home!
