1890's Victorian Amber Hanging Parlor Lamp

This all original victorian hanging lamp is beautiful to behold. Has the original 14" amber hobnail shade (fired twice with smooth glass on rim), and amber prisms. The prisims are a very unusual touch, as most people at that time ordered the clear crystal type. The font is also amber hobnail, and sits in the brass filigree base, which also holds amber jewels. The lamp has been electrified for lighting a room, but can quickly be returned too kerosene, as the original burner goes with it. It does not have the winder to pull it down. Dimensions: 38" from the ceiling to the bottom filgree frame, frame is 14 1/4" wide, shade is 14" diameter. A few prisms do have small minor dings. There are no cracks, chips or imperfections in the shade. This exquiste victorian parlor lamp would look great hanging above the dining room table, or anywhere!
