1890's Heisey Winged Scroll Custard Glass 5 Pc. Berry Set
Serve up some delicious berries with this wonderful "Winged Scroll" pattern custard berry set by the Heisey Company from the late 1890's. The set includes the master berry bowl and four smaller sauce bowls for individual servings. All pieces are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There is no manufacturer mark. This this type of glass, "Custard", is also called "Ivorina Verde" by the Heisey Company and others. There is a factory paint irregularity on one spot of one of the bowls (see picture). The gold highlights show some edge wear from from age, but the set is really in good condition, and complete. These minor irregularities do not detract from the beauty of this set at all! A very nice set ready for display!
