1923 Tin Lithograph Baseball Game

(Item: 3249J)

1923 "The Great American Game" Baseball Tin Lithograph Toy

This is a very neat toy from 1923! It was manufactured by The Hustler Toy Corporation, Sterling, Illinois. The game is in complete and original condition. The only flaw is a one inch dent on the back side of the roller mechanism. It works beautifully. When you depress the spring loaded lever on the right side of the game, the drum rolls around and stops. The columns tell you where to put your players, which are blue or white colored pegs. All of the pegs are original. There are two little mechanisms to hold the pegs in the game for carrying. The tin lithographs are in excellent condition, with very little surface scratching. The base of the game is red painted wood, with dovetailed corners. Complete instructions are on the back side of the game. The dimensions of the game are: 13 ½" long, 9" wide, and 3 3/8" tall at the play drum. This is a unique and certainly fun collectible for a toy collector or even a baseball enthusiast!
