Wedgwood Blue Classical Biscuit Jar, Circa 1891-1915

A very pretty Wedgwood biscuit jar looking for a new home! The mark impressed on the bottom "Wedgwood, England, H" dates this piece to between 1891 and 1915. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The base is plated, with ball feet, and the top is banded in silverplate, with a plated handle and lid. The underside of the lid is impressed "BHA" and "EPNS" (electroplate nickel silver). The plating has not been re-done and is in good original condition. The color of the jar is a medium blue, in the classical pattern. Dimensions of this lovely biscuit jar are; 7" tall, and 5 ½" in diameter. An excellent piece, and all ready to display in your collection!
