1941 D&RGW Railroad Prospector Pass Holder
This is a really great piece of Colorado railroad history! This is an inaugural trip pass holder for the new (in 1941) diesel power, stainless steel streamlined train "The Prospector". The stainless steel pass cover is embossed with the train and its title. The edges of the folding case are hammered. The interior of the case has two small pieces of paper with all of the information. We believe these papers are old copies. If they were original, the price of the case would be more. The case is in excellent condition with only few very minor scuff marks, no dents. The dimensions are; 2 7/8" long, and 2" wide. A fantastic addition to the collection of a serious Rio Grande collector.
