1890 E. Miller & Co. "The Juno Lamp" Hanging Lamp
We think this lamp would be great in a large "ranch-type" kitchen or a great room! People often want antique parlor lamps in places that just makes then look tiny. "The Juno Lamp" is a larger style hanging lamp that won't be dwarfed by too much space! It has a large metal frame that the fount and shade are attached to. The top circle has three set screws which support the thick milk glass shade. The bottom ring has a spring latch mechanism that supports the brass fount. The patent date on the bottom circle near the latch is "April 1, 1890" (see picture). The smoke bell is original and attached to the top circle with brass wire. The flame spreader is embossed "E. M. Co.," with a sun, moon, and star in a diamond. Embossed on the brass fount is "The Juno Lamp", Made in U.S.A.. The milk glass shade is in excellent condition, with only two flea bites (are tiny and flat) on the upper edge, and one on the lower edge (see picture). The dimensions of this unique and rustic lamp are: 35 ½" long, 15 ½" wide with frame, and 13 ½" in diameter for the shade. The lamp is kerosene, and has not been converted to electricity, but can be easily with a kit. This lamp has been polished and is home-ready!
