1895 Mission Style Green Slag Glass Hanging Kerosene Lamp
This lamp would be great in a kitchen, dining room, library, or any place you need a little extra decorative lighting. It has four large trapezoid panels and eight small rectangular panels. All of the green swirl panels are bumpy to the touch and are original. The frame is made of iron and tin, and the fount is brass. The flame spreader is marked "Royal" with a patent date of April 30, 1895. It has not been cleaned up or electrified. It could be cleaned up a bit with fine steel wool, and an electrical kit can be used through the central draft with no drilling, so it could be returned to kerosene. There is no smoke bell. Dimensions of this lamp are 26 1/2" long and 16 1/8" square. This arts & crafts period lamp would also be perfect in a cabin or log home - you name it!
