Mahogany Finished Washstand for Chamber Set

We always have folks looking for a small washstand to display a chamber set on. This is a very attractive, yet simple washstand from the turn of the century. It has a small amount of scroll work in the upper corners of the legs and a small shelf with a drawer below. The drawer has a brass pull. The wood is pine with mahogany finish, which is original. The dimensions of this piece are: 17 3/8" by 17" top, it is 30" tall, and the holes for the wash bowl and cup are 8 3/4" in diameter and 2 ½" in diameter respectively. If you happen to be the lucky owner of an exquisite chamber set which you have no place to display - this washstand is for you!

Top view. The holes for the wash bowl and cup are 8 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" in diameter respectively.

It has a small smount of scroll work in the upper corners of the legs.

Below the upper shelf is another shelf with a drawer below. The drawer has a brass pull. There is an age crack towards the back of the shelf.
