Unique Dark Oak Arm Chair w/Iron Reclining Mechanism

This wonderful and unique man's chair is from a German community in Missouri and is certainly one of our most interesting finds! The chair is oak with a very dark finish. The finish is original as is the brown leather seat. The seat has a few nicks, and the center is a bit sunken, but it is solid. The arms have iron holes on the back sides, The reclining backrest has iron "arms" with iron pegs for the corresponding holes. There are six adjustments. The back slat is curved and the top has small "ears." The seat is lower to accommodate a foot stool. When the back is reclined it is the perfect level when your feet are raised up. The dimensions of this fine chair are: 25" wide, 23" deep, and 43" tall. If you've been searching for an unusual conversation piece, this man's reclining chair is certainly the one!
