Western Stoneware Co. "Cold Drink" Water Dispenser-Complete
This stoneware "Cold Drink" water dispenser is in exceptional condition and comes complete with the original stoneware lid, brass spigot, and wire bails with wood handles. The dispenser was manufactured by Western Stoneware Co., Monmouth, Illinois. Whomever owned and used it was very careful because it has no chips or cracks except for kiln glaze imperfections and very minor crazing in the glaze on the top right edge of the lid. Dimensions of this fine stoneware piece are: 14" overall height with the lid, 12 3/4" in diameter, and the lid is 13 3/8" in diameter. These stoneware pieces are hard to find in complete and perfect condition, so we are happy to be able to offer this one!

"Western Stoneware Co., Monmouth, Ill." and "Cold Drink" are stamped on the front of the dispenser.

The dispenser has two handles, one on each side.
The lid does have a few tiny flat chips around the rim.

There are a few spots on the back of the dispenser where the glaze cracked during firing, but these do not go through the glass. These occured at the factory.
Dimensions of the dispenser are: 12 3/4" in diameter without the spigot and 14" tall, and the lid is 13 3/8" in diameter.
