1850's Small Treadle Type Spinning Wheel

We always like to have a complete and original spinning wheel at the shop. This one is from a German community and is a small traveling size. It is made mostly of oak. There are a few nicks and notches in the wood and dark staining on some parts from oil from fleece. The mother of all is in excellent condition. All of the pieces are hand turned, and the center piece has an impressed dot outline of a flower and leaves (at least that's what it appears to be!). The dimensions of the spinning wheel are: 36 ½" tall, 30 ½" long, and 17 5/8" wide and the leg base. The wheel is 15 5/8" in diameter. This attractive little treadle spinning wheel is the perfect size to set beside a fireplace... even if you don't spin or weave!
