1930's English Deykin & Sons Ltd. Rubina Four Bottle Castor Set

We're always looking for castor sets that are exceptionally beautiful, and this rubina four bottle castor set is no exception! This is a perfectly gorgeous four bottle rubina castor set in a hallmarked Deykin and Sons Ltd., EPNS (electroplated nickel silver) holder, with original tops, even down to the mustard spoon! The base of the holder has one 1/4" edge ding, but otherwise in perfect shape (see picture). The very lovely bottles are are cut glass, not pressed! There are no chips or cracks in any of the bottles, just a couple of minute flea bites on one corner edge of the salt and pepper bottle, and one flea bite spot on one of the matching cut crystal stoppers. The holder measures 8 3/4" tall and 5" square. The tallest two bottles are 6 1/2" tall, the other tall bottle is 6 1/4" tall, and the mustard pot is 4 1/4" tall. All four bottles are 1 5/8" diameter. The Deykin & Sons Ltd. hallmark appears on the underside of the frame, and is a bit blurry, but still readable with a loupe. The electroplate nickel silver is in fine condition, and the castor set polishes up very nicely. Deykin and Sons remained in business in London, England until the late 1930's. Now this is a piece that could be the high point to a wonderful collection of Rubina!!!
