Chicago, Indiana & Southern Railroad 1909 A&W Clear Cast Globe Lantern
Proudly display this beautiful CI&SRR lantern in your showroom! This small midwest railroad company lantern is becoming harder to find, especially in this nice of shape! An Adams & Westlake, double wire guard lantern, with embossed "CI&SRR" on the frame, and cast "CI&SRR" on the 5 3/8" globe. Most globes we see have very minor flakes or chips on the top and bottom edges, but this one is clean! No cracks, chips, flakes or imperfections...Perfect! The frame measures 10 1/2" tall. The last patent date is 1/26/09. Someone (not us) has clear coated the frame overtop of the soot, grease and light surface rust, or natural patina. If cleaned up, this lantern would show nearly 100% tin. The lantern comes with an Adlake 250 pot & burner that will still hold oil and burn. It would make a wonderful addition to anyones collections!

Chicago, Indiana & Southern Railroad 1909 Adams & Westlake Co. Clear Cast Globe Lantern
The lantern stands 10 1/2" tall. Someone has clear coated the frame overtop of the soot, grease and light surface rust, or natural patina. If cleaned up, this lantern would show nearly 100% tin.
The 5 3/8" tall Corning style globe is embossed in "C.I. & S.R.R." in the square edge rectangular panel.
An Adams & Westlake, double wire guard lantern. It is embossed on the top lid "The Adams & Westlake Co., Chicago & New York, CI&SRR". The last patent date is Jan. 26th, 1909.
The globe has a nice medium cast "C.I.& S.R.R." lettering.
The globes top rim is in mint condition with no rim flea bites or chips.
The globes bottom rim is also in mint condition.
The lantern comes with a Adlake 250 pot & burner that will still hold oil & burner.
