Rio Grande Western Railway Call Board Light

(Item: J053835C)

Rio Grande Western Railway Call Board Light....Extremely Rare!

If you are looking for that one of a kind, hard to find railroad piece, then this extremely rare RGWRy call board light will fit right in your collection... or museum! It is embossed on one side of the top "R.G.W.Ry.", and "M.M. Buck Mfg. Co., St. Louis" on the other side. The light comes with the original four glass lenses. The lenses are 4" in diameter, and are in excellent condition with no cracks. There are two red and two green lenses. One of the green lenses has a small ding (No cracks) from a rock, most likely. The frame does have a few dings, or dents (see pictures), with overall slight paint chipping due to age and use. It comes with the original fount and burner that is in excellent condition (no pin holes or rust), and will still hold oil and burn. It stands 17 1/2" tall with out the bail. The RGW Railway Company was formed on May 16th, 1889, as a consolidation of the D&RGW Railway (the Utah Lines of the D&RG) and the State Line & Denver Railway, and it ran until 1908. A very RARE Rio Grande Western railroadiana piece that is sure to please even the most discriminating collector.
