
Miller Victorian Hanging Parlor Lamp w/Dark Ruby 14" Hobnail Shade
This kerosene hanging parlor lamp is a real beauty in perfect condition! The burner is embossed with the E.M. Miller name and mark. The frame is brass with an Eastlake style motif, (stylized forms), for an understated and cleaner lined beauty. The lamp features a counterweight to balance the lamp for pulling it up and down to fill it with kerosene. The 14" dark ruby glass hobnail shade is original and in really pristine condition, no chips, flakes or cracks, with a smooth double fried rim. The lamp had been converted to electricity with a kit, but can be converted back to oil in just a few minutes. Dimensions of the parlor lamp are; at the widest part the frame it is 17", and it is 42" long shown, and when is pulled down to its maximum length it is 55". It has 16 original 2 1/2" long glass prisms, with 15 newer & smaller glass prisms to give the lamp a unique look. A beautiful lamp just waiting for a new home.... maybe yours?
