Union Pacific Short Green Globe Railroad Lantern
This is a very nice UP railroad lantern in excellent condition. The short 3 1/2" green globe is etched with "UP", and is in superb condition with only four small flea bites on the top lip...not even noticeable. The Adlake-Kero frame is 9 1/4" tall (w/o handle), and the wire ring base is 6 1/4" in diameter. It is embossed identity marked "U.P." on the top (see picture), and on the bottom of the frame it's marked "USA - Canada 1921-1923". The burner (pot) is complete, and there is no rust on the frame or pot. This hard to find, and hardly used lantern is exceptional!...not one to electrify, but for the serious collector!
