Men's Early 1900's Straw Boater Hat with Original Box
This wonderful hat brings to mind simpler times and summer time! This pristine men's pressed straw boater hat is an "Adam Aristocrat" and is size 7 1/8". It is 13 ½" round and 3 ½" tall. It looks as though it has never been worn. The leather band inside shows no dirt or sweat marks. The straw is nearly perfect with only 2 straw points missing out of all of the rim points. It's very hard to see except on very close inspection. The black band is 1 ½" wide black grosgrain ribbon. The matching original box is 14 ½" long by 13 ½" wide by 6 ½" tall. It is black and red cardboard with the "Adam" logo. It shows a lot of wear on the edges and has one bottom crease and one side crease, but no water marks. It is still hard to find a straw hat and box together in such good condition, especially since they are so fragile. A fine hat to display and enjoy!
