1945 "Wonder Horse" Rocking Horse - Never Assembled
We have seen a few beaten up wonder horses in our travels over the years, but this is the first one we've seen in "show room" condition! This wooden rocking "wonder horse" was manufactured in 1945 by Wonder Products Company, Collierville, Tennessee. The patent number is #RE 23,849. The wonder horse is all wood construction including the frame. The springs are steel. The paint is red and black enamel, which looks to be original on the horses body. The wooden frame supports do appear to have been re-painted or restored with red paint though. That is our opinion. There is slight chipping right at the front base of its neck. Dimensions of the wonder horse are: 31 ½" long, 19 ½" tall, and 4 3/8" wide. The "wonder horse" comes complete with all the major parts (missing some of the original assembly nails) and registration post card, and it's still un-assembled . . . that's up to you to decide!
