1952 Buck Rogers Sonic Ray Gun with Box
This vintage Buck Rogers sonic ray gun was manufactured by Norton- Honer Mfg. Co., Chicago, Illinois. The manufacturer's date on the end of the box is May 13, 1952. The gun and box show very little wear. The gun is black plastic with yellow and red trim. It is a flashlight and signal sending gun. It also emits a high frequency buzz, which I'm sure all moms loved! The gun is in near mint condition and has two ray-o-vac leakproof batteries in it. The box is in excellent condition. The graphics are great, no water stains or rips, only a little edge wear on the lower corner edges. The insert in the box has some wear and two rips where the gun rests. The instructions are with the box for morse code, interplanetary code, and warranty information. Dimensions of the gun are: 7 1/4" long and 4 ½" from the sight to the bottom of the hand grip. The box is 8 3/8" wide, 6 7/8" tall and 2 3/16" deep. An excellently preserved toy all ready to proudly display!
