Victorian "Gone With the Wind" Style Red Satin Glass Parlor Lamp
This is a very elegant and showy parlor lamp in excellent condition. This is an original lamp, not a reproduction. The red stain glass globe and fount have a matching "blown out" lion head and scroll design. There are no chips or cracks in the glass, but you can see a few tiny factory air bubbles here and there in the glass. There is one tiny 1" by ½" scuff mark or scratch in one of the globe panels; this is very minor but must be mentioned. The lamp has brass filigree feet and base, and the kerosene reservoir is brass. There is also a brass ring around the top of the globe, which is original to the lamp. The lamp has been electrified. Both top and bottom light up independently. Dimensions of this beautiful lamp are: 22 ½" tall to the top of the globe. The chimney is 3" above the globe. The lamp is 11" wide at the widest part of the fount. This is a very hard to find lamp still with its original globe. It would be right at home in your parlor!
