Set of Two Matching 1919 Miller Bent Slag Glass Table Lamps
It is very unusual to find a set of matching and marked slag glass lamps. This set of two matching Miller bent caramel slag glass lamps are dated 1919 on the base. The bronze tone metal on each lamp has a stylized dogwood design and the shade frames each have a matching dogwood and fleur de li design. The finials match and are original . The lamps both have six bent caramel slag glass panels. The glass is in excellent condition, no cracks or replaced panels. There is a little edge roughness as is normal on the panels, and one edge chip (not seen) on one panel. It is very minor but must be mentioned. The patina of the metal is excellent and has not been cleaned. One cord and the two light sockets on one lamp have been replaced by the previous owner for safety. The caramel slag panels of one lamp are slightly lighter in shade than the other. Dimensions of the lamps are: 21" tall and the shades are 16" in diameter. These lamps are a rare find and are ready for a new home!
