1930's Daval "Cent a Smoke" Trade Stimulator
During the depression this machine probably got a real work out! Deposit your penny and you get a gum ball, or match all 3 packs of cigarettes and win a free pack. . . maybe?! This 1930's machine is marked #4742 and was manufactured by Daval. It is in original and complete condition. It works perfectly and has the original key. It has not been cleaned or fussed with. It came from a drug store in North Henderson, Illinois. Dimensions of the trade stimulator are: 8 3/8" deep, 8 3/4" wide, and 12" tall. The cigarette brands displayed on the rollers are: Lucky Strike, Camel, Chesterfield, Old Gold, Phillip Morris & Co. Ltd., and Spud menthol cooled cigarettes. . . interesting line-up indeed! Sorry, there are no petrified gumballs for the players, you'll have to provide your own!!! A great machine to add to your collection of vending machines & one armed bandits!
