French Marble & Bronze Rose-Shaped Inkwell
An elegant inkwell perfect for gracing your antique desk. The rose marble base is in excellent condition, with no cracks or repairs. There is an indentation in the front for resting your pens. The rose-shaped inkwell holder has a flip up lid with a glass well inside. The rose is cast bronze with lovely patina. The hinge works well, no repairs or looseness. The rose is attached to the base by a square flat screw. The initials either "YD" or "VD" are cast in the bronze on the back of the rose. Dimensions of this lovely piece are: 4 3/4" x 6" base, and the overall height is 3 1/2". A very special inkwell deserving of a place on your desk!
