1890's Golden Oak Hall Seat w/ Beautiful Applied Carving
A fabulous solid gold oak hall seat in room-ready condition. This very beautiful hall seat has elaborate scalloped and scrolled applied carving, a wrap waist, original beveled mission and original hangers. The arms and front feet are curved. The feet have feathered three toe design. The beveled mirror has some minor streaking from age in spots, but not determined. The hall seat was refinished within the last ten years. There is one repaired crack just above the applied carving on the bottom front. (See photo).This is not noticeable, but must be mentioned for accuracy. The seat lifts up to store boots and shoes. The hall seat is 79 1/2" tall, 28" wide, and 18 1/4" deep. A special foyer piece, ready to grace your home!
