19th Century Copper Black Powder Flask w/ Brass Closure
Here is the second powder flask from a recent estate acquisition. This black powder flask is slightly smaller than item #4318, at 5 3/4" long, 3 3/8" wide and 1 1/2" thick. It has a slightly more elaborate, copper body, with a brass closure. It has a raised tulip, scroll and bead pattern with original patina. The brass pressure latch works well. No seam repair. There are two small rings on the sides of the flask for the chain, which is 15" long, and original to the flask. A special piece, ready to display proudly.
