1890's Oak China Cabinet w/ Lions Heads & Claw Feet
This very elegant china cabinet is in completely original condition. We are unsure of the manufacturer, but the original label on the back of the cabinet indicates that it was delivered originally to Howland F. Mc. Nair, Hawden, New York. It is solid quarter sawn oak, with a dark finish. The china cabinet has all original curved glass (no cracks). The feet are five toe claw feet. Topping each side column are roaring lions. There are five mirrors in the back wall of the cabinet, and five shelves with a double plate rail on the back edge of each. Usually you find the better china cabinets have mirrored backs. As you have no doubt noticed, the cabinet is filled with glassware, which is NOT included in the price! The pressed cardboard backing is also original and is in good condition. The lock is present and works well. It has the original key. Dimensions of this fine china cabinet are; 43 1/8" wide, 19" deep, and 66 3/4" tall. An excellent companion piece for a dining room set, Ready to display your collections perfectly!
