1890's Quarter Sawn Golden Oak Music Cabinet

(Item: 1951J)

1890's Quarter Sawn Golden Oak Music Cabinet

This very charming golden oak music cabinet would be just perfect for one's sitting room or office. It bears northwind faces on each of its upper shelves, applied carving on the top crest, and its outer curved legs end in hoof-shaped feet. It features two upper candle shelves, a paneled door, and four interior shelves. The music cabinet does need total re-gluing. The front door has a split that needs to be repaired. The finish is not in bad condition, but it ought to be worked on. The top of the piece has knife cuts that need to be sanded and refinished. Dimensions of the music cabinet are: 51 ½" tall, 36 3/4" wide, and 12" deep. With a bit of work and some tender loving care, this quaint little piece could soon be ready to house any number of your musical collectibles!
