Rock Island Lines, R. Wallace Silverplate & Crystal Water Carafe
superb piece to add to your Rock Island Railroad collection! This wonderful crystal and silverplate water carafe was produced by the R. Wallace Silver Company. The frame is silverplate. It is stamped near the base of the handles "R. Wallace", #0377/7, silver soldered, "Rock Island Lines". The silverplate frame is in excellent condition. It is attached to the glass below the ice lip, and at the base. The handle is scrolled with a patterned edge below the lip of the carafe. The inside of the glass shows slight lime deposits from the water. The carafe is 9 7/8" tall. No cracks, chips or imperfections. This is a dinning car piece from the Rock Island Lines not often seen, make it your own!

It stands 9 7/8" tall and is in excellent condition. This is another rare piece that is hard to find!
It is stamped "R. Wallace, 0377-7, Silver Soldered, Rock Island Lines, 12-46, 52" on the outside of the handle near the bottom.
