1870's Eastlake Style Walnut Hall Tree w/ Umbrella Holder
Many homes need a place to hang a coat or hat, and this hall tree is ready to do the job in an attractive way! This hall tree is solid dark walnut, in excellent original condition. It is in the Eastlake style, with spoon carving and turned walnut coat hangers. The hall tree has center arms and a cast iron tray to hold umbrellas, a small shelf for incidentals, a beveled glass mirror, and a gothic style crest with walnut burling. Dimensions of the hall seat are; 79" tall, 26" wide at the top and base, and 10" deep. There are a few small dark areas on the shelf where something sat for a long time (maybe a clock?). Not noticeable, but must be mentioned for accuracy. A fine hall-foyer piece ready for a new home!
