1940-41 Rio Grande Railroad Shrimp Silver Supreme Set
Another fine example of the great days on the rails of the Rio Grande. This shrimp silver supreme two piece set was manufactured by the International Silver Company of Meriden, Connecticut 1940-1941. It is bottom stamped with the Rio Grande speed logo, and the numbers "05075,' and 14 ounces. The lid has a date code of 1941, and the base of 1940. The two piece set is in excellent used condition, with some surface marks and scratches, but no dings or dents. The glass liner is not present. It shines up well. Dimensions of the silver supreme set are; 6 1/4" diameter by 2 1/4" tall. A fun addition for your railroad dining car service collection!
