1890's Oak Hotel Commode w/Bevelled Mirror & Towel Rack

A very attractive and quite cute hotel commode in room-ready condition! This furniture piece was once a regular feature in hotel rooms, used to hold a chamber set and chamber pot. The hotel commode is dark golden oak with nice applied carving. The finish is original, with the exception of the top, which has been professionally refinished to match the finish exactly. The hotel commode has one large drawer, two smaller side drawers, and a door (for the chamber pot). All of the brass hardware is original and has been polished. The bevelled mirror may be an older replacement; it is in excellent condition with no age streaks. Dimensions of this lovely hotel commode are: 31 ½" wide, 17 ½" deep, and overall height with the mirror is 67 ½" tall. A great piece for many places in your home!
